At 8:42 pm we had driven 1022 miles west from the Atlantic Ocean in NJ. Elevation Gain: 802 feet in gain, (but much higher in Pa) It was fun but now we are done.

The storm headed east we continue west, about 27 to Iowa, approx 1 hour and 30 minutes to sundown.
Not much to say till now, has been mostly clear and dry. Until now, near Joliet, Illinois having some rain and dark skies.

Just passed into Indiana and avoided the steely eyed constabulary at the boarder. They got someone else and we pushed on. Westward Ho!
